Onderzoeksrapport personele gevolgen van digitalisering bij gemeenten
Om de dienstverlening aan de burger te verbeteren zijn veel gemeenten druk bezig om hun werkprocessen te digitaliseren. Wat dat betekent voor het werk van gemeenteambtenaren blijft vaak onderbelicht. Het A+O fonds Gemeenten gaf opdracht om bij negen gemeenten te onderzoeken wat er is veranderd in het werk van medewerkers door de invoering van digitalisering. Het onderzoek toont aan dat het werk van medewerkers ingrijpend gaat veranderen, maar dat de precieze effecten zich moeilijk laten beschrijven.

The new way of working. What changes for employees as a result of new technologies in local government?
In order to improve the provision of services to the civilians, many municipalities are implementing new technologies for their operating processes. Often insufficient light is shed on what this means to the work of the municipal officials. The A+O fund Municipalities gave the assignment to carry out a research at nine municipalities to examine what had changed with regard to the work of employees as a result of the implementation of new technologies. The research demonstrates that the work of the employees will change radically, however, the precise effects are difficult to describe.
